Dodge is a brand of automobiles and trucks that has been marketed by the Chrysler Corporation from beginning in 1928. Before 1928, the company name was Dodge Brothers Motor Vehicle Company. The Dodge Viper is the most powerful sports car made by Dodge; its sleek and exotic exterior and high speeds make it an exciting and noticeable vehical on the road. The Viper is meant to be a modern take on the American muscle car, and was initially based on the Shelby Cobra.

The only transmission available is sixspeed manual, and the 2005 lacks side airbags and antiskid/traction-control systems.
